Wow, they put tar paper around your bathtub. Not on mine. I have rotted studs from leaks because there was NO tar paper.

After seeing your post in November, I tracked down and called Carter Hardware and ordered one. It only took about 3-4 weeks to get it. Now it’s installed in my remodeled bathroom and it looks awesome. Only question I had was whether it will cathch the hair and debris going down it. Doesn’t look like there’s anything to do that, but it’s a beautiful drain for a lot less than the Waterworks drain. Thanks again!!!

I am having the same dilema regarding shower drains. I could not find a site called “Carter Hardware.” Can these drains be purchased online?
I live in downtown Boston.
